Yumeng Han

Yumeng Han is a film producer and writer-director from Nanjing, China, currently based in New York.His producing credits include a number of award-winning short films that have screened at over 50 film festivals worldwide.

Highlights include Rubber Gun Club (2022), nominated for Best Short at the Austin Film Festival; INCORI (2023), Won 2023 Winner Special Mention of the Generation at Berline Film Festival, Little Sky(2021), acquired by HBO APA Visionaries and winner of a Special Mention at the Durban International Film Festival; Roots That Reach Toward the Sky (2024), supported by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation and premiering at the BFI London Film Festival; In Freedom (2024), winner of the Spike Lee Production Fund Award and premiering at the Morelia International Film Festival; and Together Forever (2025), directed by Sundance Film Festival Winner Greg Barnes and produced in collaboration with NEON and Kodark.

He has collaborated with teams behind large-scale productions including The Wandering Earth II, helping translate complex ideas into human-centered narratives. As a writer-director, Yumeng’s film Crossing River (2017) was selected for Pardi di Domani at the 70th Locarno Film Festival and the 54th San Francisco International Film Festival, and was later acquired by Kinoscope for distribution. Yumeng holds an MFA from the Graduate Film Program at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
